    Return of the McKane

    Wednesday, December 9, 2009, 08:57 AM [General]

This past week my brother was in from Dublin to work on his ongoing photo project of capturing some of the old, abandoned barns and homes around the state of Ks. We spent 2 days running around and managed to get some great shots, as well as finding locations for more when he returns in the spring.

    Ireland photos,,,finally

    Wednesday, September 9, 2009, 08:35 PM [General]

I have finally gotten around to posting some of the photos from my trip to Ireland in August for my brother's wedding. Where are the pictures of the wedding, you might ask? Since I was standing up at his side I didn't get to take very many, but I will be posting some of the before and after photos that I do have.

    Dublin Bound

    Monday, August 3, 2009, 09:19 AM [General]

No, it's the not name of a bondage outlet store. One week from today I shall gather up Mum, and head off to Dublin for my brother's wedding! Upon landing, after so many hours spent getting Mom from here to there, there had best be a Bushmills waiting for me! He runs a photography school there, and has access to a couple of locations where the "Tudors" are filmed....the only question now is, can I fit garb in my bags? Photos on the set of the Tudors.....hhhhmmmm, this would work.

    Photo shoot at the Castle

    Monday, June 15, 2009, 01:29 PM [General]

Over the weekend, Reggie (Bertonelli) and I had the great pleasure of joining several friends for a photo shoot at a nearby castle. The castle was built during the  1930's by the WPA, and sits atop the highest point for many miles, giving it a grand view of the surrounding lands. Photographers from the Wichita photograpy club were on hand to do what they do. I couldn't give and accurate count, but I believe at least a half dozen photogs where on hand...as were many unsuspecting mundanes who just showed up at the park. I'm looking foreward to seeing the shots when they are posted, and until then am throwing up the few that I took during the day.
