After last December's ice storm, we weren't sure how the yard would fare this spring, but suprisingly, the plants seem determined to strike back this year. Some of them are easily double their size from last spring.

I know that you had a great time in Muskogee, and I wish that I could have been there as well. I did want to post a picture of why I chose not to make the trip - meet the new Lady McKane.
Newest McKane
You asked for it, and here she is, the newest member of the Clan McKane. My niece Sarah's daughter, Aidan. At this point unaware that her great uncle will putting funny clothes on her and dragging her away to gatherings of many other people all dressed in their funny clothes as well.
Newest McKane arrives
On thursday, May 1, my neice Sarah gave birth to the newest member of the McKane Clan, an 8lb.,21" little girl named Adian (hhmmm, nice name). The name/gender thing confused me, but anymore children's names are, well...Whatever happened to Bob and Cathy? Oh well, GREAT JOB SARAH! Now it's time for a grand Scots welcoming party!
Enough of the Guilt Already
Enough already! I would love to join all in Ok., and finally meet everyone, but finances just say no. My Lady and I have already decided to use the time off work to do some much needed house painting and yard work to repair the damage of last winter's icestorm. I am loathe to wait until August for an excuse to put on the funny clothes again, but sometimes...well, life's a bitch. I may just have to paint in my ren garb. The neighbors would love that. But we'll always have Paris...
